One of the most elusive bird in Borneo Sabah. It is a species of bird in the Trogonidae family. It is found in Borneo Sabah, Mount Kinabalu and its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests from 900m-2,000m. This species is listed as Near Threatened as it has a moderately small, patchy range, within which it is generally scarce and possibly declining.
