BORNEO BIRD FESTIVAL 7-9 June @ Sandakan RDC, Borneo Sabah.
Calling all birding enthusiasts! The three-day Borneo Bird Festival will be held in Rainforest Discovery Centre (RDC), Sandakan. Home of colossal species of birds, both endemic and otherwise, the RDC provides the rare opportunity for birders and photographers to catch a glimpse of remarkable species found in Borneo Sabah. Grab a chance to see vibrant-coloured birds from the kingfishers, trogons, pittas to the elusive endemic Bornean Bristlehead, while supporting the cause to promote ecotourism and environmental conservation. An interesting array of activities will also be held in conjunction with this event.
